Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Perioperative or OR nursing experience preferred
• BLS required; CNOR or other specialty certifications preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare patients, instruments, and the OR environment for surgical procedures
• Serve as circulating nurse or scrub tech, assisting the surgical team throughout cases
• Monitor patient status, administer medications as ordered, and maintain sterile technique
• Accurately document surgical care and ensure adherence to protocols and safety standards
• Provide pre- and post-operative education to patients and families
