Contract travel opportunity in Hilo, HI — start ASAP. Full-time, varied shift schedule (6:45 AM–11:15 PM). Rate: $2,280 per 40 hours.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support perioperative services in the operating room. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and clear communication while delivering safe, patient-centered surgical care.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Perioperative/OR nursing experience preferred.
• BLS required; CNOR or other specialty certifications preferred.
• Excellent clinical, organizational, and communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare patients, instruments, equipment, and the OR environment for surgical procedures.
• Function as circulator or scrub nurse—assist the surgical team and maintain sterile technique throughout cases.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications per protocol, and respond to intraoperative needs.
• Accurately document perioperative care and ensure adherence to hospital policies and safety protocols.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding pre- and post-operative care.
