Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room/Circulating, Fort Defiance, AZ (Contract)

Join a perioperative team in Fort Defiance, AZ for a contract travel opportunity starting ASAP. This role is a day-shift position, Monday–Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., covering 36 hours per week with a pay rate of $2,434 per 36-hour period.

What you’ll be doing:

• Get patients and the OR ready for surgery, ensuring the environment and equipment are set.
• Serve as the circulating RN during procedures—monitor patient status, anticipate team needs, and provide hands-on assistance.
• Administer medications safely and maintain strict sterile technique throughout cases.
• Accurately document care, operative details, and patient outcomes.
• Teach patients and families about pre- and post-operative instructions and recovery expectations.
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the rest of the OR team to keep cases running smoothly.

What we’re looking for:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Prior perioperative or surgical nursing experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills.
• BLS required; CNOR or other perioperative certifications are a plus.
