Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Perioperative or surgical nursing experience preferred.
• BLS required; CNOR or other perioperative certifications preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organized workflow, and clear communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and the OR environment for scheduled procedures.
• Serve as circulating nurse: monitor patient status, anticipate needs, and support the surgical team.
• Administer medications safely and maintain aseptic technique.
• Accurately document perioperative care, intraoperative events, and patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and families on pre- and post-operative instructions.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure smooth, safe care delivery.
