Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room/Circulator, Hermiston OR (36-hr Contract)

Join a perioperative team in Hermiston, OR as a contract Registered Nurse (Operating Room/Circulate). This daytime contract role starts ASAP and is scheduled for 36-hour weeks at a rate of $2,560 per 36 hours.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Perioperative or surgical nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS; CNOR or other perioperative certifications preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and clear communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and the OR to ensure a safe, sterile surgical environment
• Serve as circulating nurse: monitor patient status, assist the surgical team, and coordinate intraoperative needs
• Administer medications and uphold sterile technique throughout procedures
• Accurately document care, surgical events, and patient outcomes
• Provide pre- and post-operative education to patients and families
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to support optimal patient care
