Requirements:
- Active RN license in the practicing state.
- Experience in perioperative, OR, PACU, or pre-op nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- BLS required; ACLS preferred; CNOR a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and the operating room for surgery, maintaining sterile technique.
- Circulate in the OR to assist surgical teams and monitor patient status.
- Monitor patients in pre-op and PACU phases, administering medications and interventions.
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and post-op care.
- Document care accurately and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team.
