Travel RN - PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) — Morristown, VT (Contract)

Join a contract travel assignment in Morristown, VT, providing post-anesthesia care on day shifts. This role begins ASAP, is a 40-hour/week assignment, and offers $2,280 per 40 hours.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• PACU, post-anesthesia, or perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor airway, vital signs, and overall patient condition immediately after procedures.
• Safely administer medications, manage pain, and provide ordered interventions.
• Quickly recognize and respond to changes in patient status or postoperative complications.
• Provide clear discharge instructions and educate patients and families about post-procedure care.
• Accurately document care and coordinate effectively with surgical and anesthesia teams.
