- Experience in PACU, post-anesthesia, or perioperative nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor vital signs, airway, and patient status immediately post-procedure.
- Administer medications, pain management, and interventions as prescribed.
- Identify and respond promptly to changes in patient condition or complications.
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and discharge instructions.
- Document patient care accurately and collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.
