Travel RN - PACU (36-hr Days, Carbondale IL) — $2,182/36-hr, ASAP Start

Join a fast-paced PACU team in Carbondale, IL — contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This day-shift role (9:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m.) offers $2,182 per 36-hour week.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• PACU, post-anesthesia, or perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred.

Core responsibilities:

• Provide immediate post-anesthesia care: monitor vital signs, airway, and overall patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications and manage pain and other interventions.
• Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in condition or post-procedure complications.
• Deliver clear patient and family education, including discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate closely with surgical and anesthesia teams.
