Requirements:
- Active RN license in the practicing state.
- Experience in perioperative, OR, PACU, or pre-op nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- BLS required; ACLS preferred; CNOR a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and the OR for surgical procedures, maintaining sterile technique.
- Monitor patients in pre-op, intra-op, and post-anesthesia (PACU) phases.
- Administer medications, anesthesia support, and interventions as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and post-op care.
- Document care accurately and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team.
