Travel RN – Perioperative/OR/PACU/Pre-Op (Quincy, CA)

Join a perioperative team in Quincy, CA as a contract Registered Nurse supporting OR, PACU, and pre-op care. This daytime, Monday–Friday assignment starts ASAP for a 40-hour week at $2,704.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Perioperative/OR, PACU, or pre-op experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred; CNOR a plus.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and operating rooms for surgery, maintaining sterile technique and safety standards.
• Monitor patients through pre-op, intra-op, and post-anesthesia care.
• Administer medications and provide anesthesia support and prescribed interventions.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, and post-op care.
• Accurately document care and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team.
