Travel RN – Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) – Hermiston, OR – Contract/36-hr Week – Days

Join a contract/travel team in Hermiston, OR, providing high-quality post-anesthesia care. This day-shift RN assignment starts ASAP and follows a 36-hour pay period at $2,358.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• PACU, post-anesthesia, or perioperative nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor airway, vital signs, and overall patient status immediately following procedures
• Administer medications, manage pain, and implement prescribed interventions
• Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in condition or post-procedure complications
• Provide patient and family education on recovery and discharge instructions
• Accurately document care and coordinate with surgical and anesthesia teams
