Requirements:
- Active RN license in the practicing state.
- Experience in PACU, post-anesthesia, or surgical nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient vital signs, airway, and overall recovery from anesthesia.
- Administer medications, pain management, and interventions as prescribed.
- Assess for complications and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and discharge instructions.
- Document patient care accurately and collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams.
