Overview:
Seeking a Registered Nurse for Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU). Provide post-anesthesia recovery care, monitor patients, manage pain and complications, educate patients/families, and coordinate with surgical and anesthesia teams.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in practicing state
• PACU, post-anesthesia, or surgical nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred

Core Responsibilities:

• Monitor vital signs, airway, level of consciousness, and overall recovery from anesthesia
• Administer medications and pain management per orders
• Assess for and promptly respond to postoperative complications or changes in condition
• Provide patient and family education on post-procedure care and discharge instructions
• Accurately document care and communicate/collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
