- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and prepare patients for surgery, including reviewing medical history and vitals.
- Monitor patients in PACU after surgery, managing pain and recovery from anesthesia.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain medical records.
- Educate patients and families on preoperative and postoperative care.
- Follow infection control, safety protocols, and hospital policies.
