Travel RN – Pre-Op/PACU (Days) – Greenbrae/Kentfield, CA – Contract (36 hrs)

Location: Kentfield, CA
Assignment: Contract/Travel — Start ASAP
Schedule: Mon–Fri, Days; 36 hours/week
Rate: $2,308 / 36 hours
Specialty: Pre-op / PACU

Required credentials:

• Active RN license in practicing state
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Perioperative or PACU experience preferred

Core qualifications:

• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment

Key responsibilities:

• Assess and prepare patients for surgery: review medical history, obtain vitals, verify orders
• Provide immediate postoperative care in PACU: monitor recovery from anesthesia, manage pain and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in medical records
• Educate patients and families on preoperative and postoperative care and discharge instructions
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and hospital policies
