Locum Tenens Licensed Psychologist — $125/hr, 26-week Role in Portage, WI (Correctional/DOC)

We’re seeking a licensed psychologist to join a correctional health team in Portage, WI, on a locum tenens basis. This role starts ASAP and runs for approximately 26 weeks. Your typical schedule will be 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, and the rate is $125/hour.

You’ll use your doctoral-level training and Wisconsin psychologist license to conduct assessments, testing, and risk evaluations, provide ongoing mental health treatment and monitoring, and respond to crises as needed. You’ll also make clinical decisions about observation or restraint placement and removal, maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports, and work closely with DOC staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

Required qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in Psychology.
• Active license as a Psychologist with the Wisconsin Psychology Examining Board.
• Familiarity with DSM diagnostic criteria, evidence-based treatment approaches, and correctional mental health practices.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
