Locum Tenens Licensed Psychologist — $125/hr | Correctional Mental Health, Portage WI

We’re seeking a licensed psychologist to join a correctional mental health team in Portage, WI for a 26-week locum tenens assignment starting ASAP. This is a daytime position (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) offering $125/hr.

What you’ll do:

• Perform psychological assessments, testing, and structured risk evaluations.
• Provide individualized mental health treatment, ongoing monitoring, and crisis intervention.
• Make clinical determinations regarding observation or restraint placement and removal.
• Maintain clear, accurate clinical documentation and prepare required reports.
• Work closely with DOC staff and multidisciplinary teams to promote continuity of care.

What we’re looking for:

• Doctoral degree in Psychology.
• Current licensure as a psychologist by the Wisconsin Psychology Examining Board.
• Solid knowledge of DSM diagnostic criteria, evidence-based treatments, and correctional mental health practices.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
