Locum Tenens Licensed Psychologist — Correctional Mental Health, Portage WI (26 wks, $125/hr)

We’re looking for a licensed psychologist to join a correctional health team in Portage, WI for an immediate, 26-week locum tenens engagement. The schedule is 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, and the rate is $125/hour.

You’ll need a doctoral degree in psychology and current licensure from the Wisconsin Psychology Examining Board. Familiarity with DSM diagnostic standards, evidence-based treatments, and correctional mental health practices is essential. Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills are also required to succeed in this role.

In this position you will:

• Perform psychological assessments, testing, and risk evaluations.
• Provide treatment, ongoing monitoring, and crisis intervention for patients.
• Make clinical decisions about placement or removal from observation or restraint.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and produce necessary reports.
• Work collaboratively with Department of Corrections staff and multidisciplinary teams to support continuity of care.
