Travel RN – Psychiatric Night Shift (Lawton, OK)

We’re looking for a compassionate, confident registered nurse to join a psychiatric team in Lawton, OK. This is a contract/travel night position (7p–7a) starting ASAP. The assignment covers 36 hours per week with a pay rate of $2,052 per 36-hour shift block.

What you’ll bring

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, crisis management, and communication skills.
• BLS required; psychiatric/behavioral health certifications are a plus.

What you’ll do

• Regularly assess and monitor patients’ mental health and document changes.
• Safely administer medications and other therapeutic interventions.
• Support and participate in individual and group therapy activities.
• Provide patient education and de-escalation when needed.
• Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team—psychiatrists, therapists, and fellow nurses—to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
