Scrub Technologist (Surgical Tech) — Contract Travel RN Opportunity, Machias ME

Join a short-term contract opportunity in Machias, ME, starting ASAP. This day-shift role (travel/contract) offers $1,888 per 40-hour week.

What you’ll be doing:

• Set up the operating room and prepare surgical instruments and supplies before procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon needs, pass instruments, and help maintain a sterile field throughout cases.
• Monitor surgical equipment for proper function and report any issues.
• Keep accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and other items to ensure patient safety.
• Document procedural details and communicate effectively with the perioperative team.

What we’re looking for:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is preferred.
• Prior experience in perioperative or surgical settings is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational habits, and the ability to work well on a team.
• BLS certification preferred.
