Rate: Travel: $1,677/35 hrs; Local: $1,652/35 hrs
Required:
- Active Respiratory Therapy state license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess respiratory status (lung function, oxygenation) and review medical history
- Develop individualized respiratory care plans
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies to improve function and relieve distress
- Manage and titrate mechanical ventilators; monitor ventilated patients
- Respond to respiratory emergencies following protocols
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care
- Clean, maintain, and verify proper function of respiratory equipment
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on patient care plans
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
