Required qualifications:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Cardiac cath lab, cardiac care, or critical care experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, organization, and communication skills

Core responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist cardiologists and cath lab team during procedures
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and cardiac status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
• Administer medications and contrast agents per orders and monitor for adverse reactions
• Provide patient and family education on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
• Accurately document interventions, procedural details, and patient outcomes
• Collaborate with cardiologists, technicians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient care
