Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) — Ideal, GA — 14-Week Travel Position

Join a healthcare team in Ideal, GA as a contract Speech‑Language Pathologist for a 14‑week assignment beginning ASAP. This full‑time role follows an 08:00 AM–04:30 PM schedule. Compensation: Travel rate $1,754/35 hrs; Local rate $1,726/35 hrs.

Requirements:

• Current, active state license as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.
• Diagnose communication and swallowing disorders and determine severity.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with each patient’s goals.
• Provide evidence‑based therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and swallowing function.
• Recommend and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on strategies, home exercises, and safe swallowing techniques.
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress; maintain accurate, up‑to‑date clinical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to ensure coordinated, patient‑centered care.
• Support patients in generalizing communication skills to daily life, school, and work settings.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current in the field.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
