RN Clinical Resource / Med-Surg — Staff Educator (Days) — Sitka, AK

Join our Sitka, AK team as a full-time Registered Nurse on days (start ASAP). In this clinical resource/med-surg role you’ll support staff and strengthen patient care by providing expert clinical guidance, mentoring colleagues, and helping manage complex patient situations.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Medical-surgical nursing experience; clinical mentorship or educator experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and communication skills.
• BLS required; additional certifications in med-surg or clinical education a plus.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a clinical resource for staff on patient care, policies, and procedures.
• Support clinical decision-making and assist with complex patient care.
• Provide education and mentorship to nursing staff to build skills and confidence.
• Monitor patient outcomes and contribute to quality improvement activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve care delivery and workflow.
