Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) — Westford, MA (13-Week Contract)

We’re looking for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join a team in Westford, MA on a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This position follows a standard daytime schedule (08:00 AM–04:30 PM) and offers competitive pay: Travel: $2,244/35-hours; Local: $2,212/35-hours.

What you’ll need:

• A valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

What you’ll do:

• Perform thorough assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing function.
• Use clinical evaluations and diagnostic testing to determine diagnosis and severity.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s goals and needs.
• Provide targeted therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, comprehension, and expressive skills.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia, teaching safe swallowing techniques when needed.
• Recommend and instruct patients/families in use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home strategies and exercises to reinforce progress.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records, including assessments, plans, and progress notes.
• Help patients transfer communication gains into daily life, school, or work settings.
• Keep current with best practices and new developments in the field through professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
