Schedule: Sun–Sat, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM
Rate: Travel: $2,121/35 hrs; Local: $2,090/35 hrs
Requirements:
- Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Diagnose type and severity using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
- Provide therapy targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
- Evaluate and treat dysphagia; implement and teach safe swallowing strategies.
- Recommend and provide training for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices as needed.
- Educate patients and families on exercises, strategies, and carryover activities.
- Monitor, document, and revise treatment plans based on patient progress.
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, plans, progress notes).
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members for coordinated care.
- Facilitate generalization of communication skills to daily, school, or work settings.
- Participate in professional development to stay current in the field.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
