Rate: Travel: $2,121/35 hrs; Local: $2,090/35 hrs

Requirements:

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Diagnose type and severity using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide therapy targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia; implement and teach safe swallowing strategies.
• Recommend and provide training for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices as needed.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, strategies, and carryover activities.
• Monitor, document, and revise treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, plans, progress notes).
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members for coordinated care.
• Facilitate generalization of communication skills to daily, school, or work settings.
• Participate in professional development to stay current in the field.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
