Requirements:

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing
• Diagnose disorder type and severity; develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
• Provide evidence-based therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and swallowing disorders
• Evaluate, recommend, and train patients/families on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies and home/exercise programs to support progress and safe swallowing practices
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on patient progress; maintain accurate, timely records (assessments, plans, progress notes)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (physicians, therapists, educators) to coordinate care
• Assist patients in generalizing communication skills to daily activities, school, or work
• Participate in professional development to maintain current practice
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
