Join a contract travel team in Chico, CA, providing night-shift care (starts 7 p.m.) in CVICU/CPCU/cardiac telemetry. Assignment begins ASAP; rate is $2,686 per 36-hour week.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Experience in CVICU, CPCU, telemetry, or other critical care nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• BLS and ACLS required; cardiac specialty certifications strongly preferred.

Key responsibilities:

• Continually assess and monitor cardiac patients’ vital signs and rhythms.
• Safely administer medications, blood products, and cardiac interventions.
• Respond quickly to cardiac emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.
• Accurately document care and collaborate with cardiologists and the multidisciplinary team.
