Core qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Emergency room experience or acute care background preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC preferred

Key responsibilities

• Triage and rapidly assess patients on arrival
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
• Monitor patient status and promptly communicate changes to physicians and the team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and patient records
• Educate patients and families on treatments and follow-up plans
• Contribute to ER quality improvement and safety initiatives
