Join a busy outpatient wound care practice in Batavia, OH, providing locum tenens coverage to supplement the existing team from Dec 22, 2025 to Mar 31, 2026. This clinical-only role operates primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (flexible; optional Mon, Thu & Fri schedule available), managing a daily patient volume of 15–30.
Clinical scope includes evaluation and management of acute, traumatic, surgical, and chronic wounds (including pressure, diabetic, venous ulcers, pilonidal cysts, gangrene, radiation injury, and burns). Common procedures and therapies: sharp/surgical debridement, irrigation & drainage, negative-pressure wound therapy, bioengineered skin, skin grafting and post‑surgical incision care, Unna boot and total contact casting, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy supervision.
Core responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive wound assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Initiate and deliver topical and advanced wound therapies, debridement, and wound closure techniques
- Manage draining wounds and fistulae, prevent skin breakdown, and address vascular ulcers
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound care, dressing techniques, and ulcer prevention
- Implement measures to reduce pressure and vascular ulcer incidence

- Temporary privileges available
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided
Requirements:
- Active Ohio RN/NP license
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in relevant specialty
- ACLS certification
