**Assignment Details**
- Reason for coverage is a recruitment gap
- Start January 2026 with multiple open shifts through February
- Strictly onsite emergency department coverage with no call
- Shifts include 0600-1600, 0900-2100, 1400-0000, and 2000-0600
- Daily ED volume approximately 80 patients; physicians average 1.8 patients per hour
- APP coverage for 12 hours plus full nursing, tech, radiology, and lab support
- EMR system is Cerner
- Local providers only

**Clinical Details**
- Full-scope emergency medicine for adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
- Includes newborn resuscitation, management of acute medical issues, and orthopedic care for minor fractures
- Procedures include suturing, incision and drainage, ventilation and airway management, central and arterial line placement, EKG interpretation, arthrocentesis, lumbar puncture, and paracentesis
- Expected to manage ED presentations without subspecialty delays
- No admissions responsibilities outside typical ED workflow

**Requirements**
- Board certification required; BE not accepted
- IM or FM accepted with minimum two years of recent ED experience
- Active Michigan license required at name clear; IMLC not accepted
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
- Provider must be fully local and have a clean background
- Exact availability must be included at name clear
- Employee health requirements must be met, including vaccinations and titers

**Compensation**
