Rates:
24 hour call: $1700 with 4 hours gratis
Call back (post gratis hours): $220/hr

Job Details
24-hour call (7a–7a)
Setting: Inpatient, Level I Nursery
Required Duties: Newborn care, inpatient pediatrics, circumcision, neonatal resuscitation, respiratory & infectious disease management
Required Delivery Attendance: All C-sections; selected deliveries
Patient Mix: Mostly newborns and pediatric floor patients (no PICU; rare older adolescent cases—provider may decline)
Annual Volumes: ~250 deliveries/year; 40–50 pediatric admissions/year
Support Staff: None
EMR: Epic (mandatory modules + virtual training completed before start date)

Requirements
Board Certified Pediatrics
Active CO license or active IMLC (LOQ required at submission)
Active BLS (preferred), Active DEA (preferred; must be kept for duration)
Clean malpractice/background; NPDB self-query required
Must agree to complete EMR training in required sequence
Must disclose monthly shift availability
Must agree to participate in CO Medicaid (80% of patient population)
Must stay at preferred lodging (Fairfield Inn & Suites Fort Morgan)

Call Details
24-hour call; average 1.2 callback hours
Duties include deliveries, newborn resuscitation, admissions, and inpatient rounding
No pediatric ICU responsibilities
Travel
Air travel allowed
Only the preferred hotel approved
Must disclose home city and any travel exceptions

Credentialing
ASAP start; emergency/temps possible
CO license or IMLC required to release application
Pre-app + full app must be submitted within 72 hours
Provider moved to “applicant in training” for AD/Epic setup (takes ~5 days)
