Dates: ASAP – Ongoing
License Requirements: None
Job Details
Scheduled clinic hours + call
Inpatient and outpatient urology
Clinic hours: 8a–5p
2–3 weeks of coverage needed per month
Patients per shift: 10–16
Assist with surgeries
Cystoscopy ability preferred but not required
No pediatric patients except occasional emergency situations while on call
EMR: Cerner
Support staff: 1 RN, 3 MAs, 4 APPs, 7 office staff
Rounding on assigned patients
Call Details
Call required
Beeper call
Response time: 15 minutes
Call ratio: 1:3 or 1:4
Call covers assigned patients
Requirements
NP or PA with urology clinical and surgical experience
Able to manage clinic patients and assist in OR
Comfortable taking call and managing urgent urologic needs
Temporary privileges available
Credentialing estimated at 60 days
