Position Overview

Health system in northern Illinois seeks BE/BC Otolaryngologists to join a busy community-based practice in Rockford, Illinois. The practice benefits from a built-in referral base from over 100 primary care providers within a large medical group of more than 270 employed providers.

Practice Details

• Full-service audiology onsite, including 3 AuDs, hearing aid center, newborn screening, CAP testing, and balance/vertigo testing.

• 15 modern surgical suites with block scheduling at the local hospital.

• 10-bed inpatient pediatric unit with pediatric hospitalist support in the womens and childrens hospital.

• Quaternary support from a major childrens hospital in Madison, WI.

• 12-county regional referral area across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

• Academic appointment and teaching opportunities with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford.

• APP support for streamlined workflow and patient management.

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO.

• Active Illinois medical license or ability to obtain prior to start.

• Active DEA license or ability to obtain prior to or upon hire.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology; board certification required within 5 years of eligibility.

• Current CPR certification preferred.
