  • Schedule: 7 days on and 7 days off block schedule
  • Shifts: 12 hours: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

    • Sign on Bonus and Retention Incentive

UPMC Chautauqua, located in Jamestown, New York, is looking for full time Hospitalist to become part of our team. With a facility that has served the area's health care needs for 128 years, UPMC Chautauqua currently provides some of the most advanced medical technology available in the region covering a broad array of services including diagnostics, acute care, cancer care, and rehabilitation.


This opportunity will allow you to live in a beautiful, four-season, affordable city on the water, in a family-friendly community with short commutes to the hospital from many surrounding neighborhoods. Chautauqua County is located less than three hours from Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Rochester, and Toronto and within an easy drive from Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and Erie. You will love living here!


  • Open ICU
  • No procedures required
  • Candidate must be proficient in ventilator management
  • Intensivist coverage available Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
  • APP support available for admissions
  • Average daily census of approximately 16 patients per Hospitalist (excluding new admissions)
  • Approximately 2–3 admissions per Hospitalist per day
  • Hospitalists are responsible for responding to codes and rapid response calls

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO from an accredited medical school
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted New York Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
  • DEA certification
  • A commitment to patient-centered care and excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as we prioritize delivering the highest quality care in a compassionate, professional environment

Minimum Salary Range: $345,000 | Maximum Salary Range: $405,000+
