Job Description
We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to provide part-time locum coverage in Maine. This opportunity includes a mix of clinic and OR work with a well-supported outpatient-focused practice in a rural hospital setting.
Schedule
- 6-month 1099 locum assignment with option to extend
- Part-time: 6–8 days per month
- Coverage is typically completed in 1–2 consecutive weeks per month
- Monday–Thursday, 10-hour days
- No weekends, no call
Practice Details
- Combination of clinic and OR work
- EMR: Meditech
- Support staff – MA on clinic days, full support when in OR
- Cases – Total joints- knees, hips, shoulders, rotator cuff repair, hip injections, arthroscopy of knees, carpal tunnel release
- Must have an active ME license or IMLC and BC by the ABOS
