Job Description
We are seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to provide high-quality emergency care at a hospital-based Emergency Department in Lehigh Acres, Florida. This opportunity offers a flexible locums schedule in a community-focused setting while working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
- Manage medical emergencies and trauma cases
- Perform emergency procedures as required
- Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary services
- Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA registration
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
