Emergency Medicine Physician in Lake Havasu City, AZ

TeamHealth has an opportunity for an emergency medicine (EM) physician to join our emergency department (ED) team PRN at Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. This facility supports a 26,000-annual-volume ED that provides coverage in 12-hour shifts. There is a hospitalist program in place, with an admit rate of 16%. The EMR is MedHost. Other features include helicopter service and an EMS base station, and the transfer rate is 3-5%.

Physicians see a variety of cases from trauma to illness and patients ranging from pediatric to older adults. Highly respected medical director. The nursing staff is very experienced and specialty support includes - cath lab, cardiothoracic surgery, cardiovascular surgery, GI, cardiology, interventional radiology, neurology, OB/gyn, ortho, pediatrics, and more. Qualifications include board certified/prepared in emergency medicine or primary care with EM fellowship.
