**Locums | Neuro-Trauma ICU APP | No Call | Redding, CA**
**Why This Role**
- High-acuity neuro-trauma ICU coverage at a Level II Trauma Center
- Block scheduling with long-term open dates available through year-end
- Day shift only with no call responsibilities
**Assignment Details**
- Locum APP coverage for gaps in neuro-trauma ICU service
- 10-hour day shifts from 7:00a–5:00p
- Scheduled dates in January through June with ongoing availability July–December
- Credentialing timeframe of approximately 30–60 days once a complete application is received
- Application must be completed within 3 days of confirmation
**Clinical Details**
- Neurosurgery and trauma ICU management for brain, neck, and spine emergency surgery patients
- Average daily census of 15–20 ICU patients per provider
- Low to moderate risk procedures including laceration repair, peripheral IV access, and fracture or dislocation reductions
- High-risk procedures including G-tube placement, intubation, cardioversion or defibrillation, LMA placement, paracentesis, chest tubes, and central and arterial line placement
- No intraoperative surgical assistance required
- EMR: Cerner Care B
**Requirements**
- Board Certified NP (ANCC/AANP) or PA (NCCPA)
- Active state license required
- Minimum of 1 year of neurosurgery, neuro-trauma, neurocritical care, or neurology experience
- ACLS and DEA required; ATLS preferred but not a deal breaker
- Must hold active, unrestricted privileges at a TJC-accredited facility
- Clean malpractice history required
- Availability must be confirmed at time of name clear
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
