Role & Clinical Responsibilities
• Nocturnist position primarily admitting and rounding on sicker patients during night shifts
• Tele-hospitalist support for most of the shift and admitter support for part of the evening
• Average 8-10 admissions per night
• Work in a 380-bed independent, financially stable hospital
• Open ICU with Pulm/CC support; ED located nearby for easy admissions
• Team-based approach with other hospitalists and specialty support
Compensation & Benefits
• Base pay: $378,000+ per year
• $15,000 bonus, $5,000 CME allowance
• Fully paid health insurance premiums
• $60,000 commencement bonus and $15,000 relocation assistance available 90 days prior to start
• 168 shifts per year (fewer than typical 182 shifts, giving extra time off)
