**Assignment Details**
- Inpatient call coverage only
- 24-hour call shifts from 7a–7a
- Coverage dates available throughout 2026 with multiple blocks open
- Hospitalist service handles admissions
- Emergency privileges possible for clean files

**Clinical Details**
- Inpatient GI consults and procedures generated from ER consults
- Average up to 10 patients per day for rounding and procedures
- Procedures include upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP
- Common cases include GI bleed, abdominal pain, SBO, food bolus, ulceration, and gastritis
- Anesthesia support available with preference for conscious sedation when appropriate
- EMR currently Paragon with planned transition to Epic in 2026

**Requirements**
- Board Certified highly preferred; Board Eligible considered
- Active Texas medical license required
- Completion of Gastroenterology residency required
- ERCP experience required
- ACLS required
- Clean malpractice history highly preferred

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
