Permanent Nocturnist Physician; Hour from North Carolina Beaches

Board-eligible or board-certified Med-Peds or Internal Medicine nocturnist position at a community hospital in eastern North Carolina

Experienced providers only, joining an established, high-quality hospitalist program

Employed by a large regional physician group

Hospitalist team includes 6 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider

Schedule options: three 14-hour shifts per week or six 14-hour shifts every other week

Average nightly admissions for the hospitalist service: approximately 6

Care for patients in a 9-bed open ICU with tele-intensivist support from a tertiary medical center

ICU responsibilities include ventilator management, lumbar puncture, and central line placement

Fully integrated EPIC electronic health record

Broad specialty support, including general surgery, cardiology, otolaryngology, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, gastroenterology, nephrology, ophthalmology, sleep medicine, speech therapy, and physical therapy
