We are seeking a full-time or part-time (prorated, on-call) Anesthesiologist to join a professional, confident, and collegial anesthesia team at a state-of-the-art hospital in Muskegon, Michigan.

* Care team model providing medical direction over CRNAs, with opportunities to personally perform anesthesia
* Level II Trauma Center
* 20 operating rooms, 5 heart & vascular rooms, 6 endoscopy rooms, and 2 C-section suites
* Dedicated focus on operating room efficiency and quality improvement initiatives
* Participation in a Surgical Optimization Service to enhance preoperative patient readiness

**Case Mix Includes:**

* General and complex cases
* Orthopedic (elective and trauma)
* Gynecology and ENT
* Complex vascular and neurosurgery
* Interventional cardiology (EP and structural heart)
* Full-scope cardiothoracic cases
* Radiology anesthesia support
* Full obstetrical service with high epidural volume

**Regional Anesthesia**

* Utilization of peripheral nerve blocks and advanced regional techniques
* Candidates should be proficient or willing to be trained in blocks such as:
* Popliteal, saphenous, adductor canal
* Erector spinae, TAP
* Brachial plexus blocks

**Schedule & Call**

* 1.0 FTE ≈ 2,200 hours annually (includes all call)
* Mix of day, evening, overnight shifts
* Call, weekends, and holidays are shared equitably, allowing for scheduling and compensation flexibility

**Requirements**

* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (Board Certification required within 2 years)
* Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain)
* DEA license (or willingness to obtain)
* ACLS and BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
