Job Description
We are seeking a Locums Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician to provide coverage in West Branch, Michigan. This opportunity offers a supportive clinical environment with reliable backup coverage and modern technology.
Position Details
- Location: West Branch, MI
- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
- Proctoring: 1–2 days required prior to independent coverage
- Typically 5 cases completed during proctoring
- Backup Call: One backup call available (traditional OB/GYN support)
Clinical Responsibilities
The locums OB/GYN physician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including:
- Suction D&C
- Laparoscopic procedures
- Reading and interpreting NSTs
- Cesarean sections
- Tubal ligations
- Circumcisions (preferred but not required)
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years)
- ACLS, BLS, PALS required
- Michigan license preferred
- IMLC candidates will be considered
