Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a Neurosurgeon for a locum tenens opportunity at a Level I Trauma Center in IL. This is a new position with ongoing coverage needs and a flexible schedule.
Assignment Details
- 24-hour call coverage
- Preferred schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (flexible)
- Will consider providers with 1 week of availability
- Up to 20 shifts per month
- Call and inpatient rounding
- EMR: Epic
- NPs onsite from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Collaborative Environment: Trauma, critical care, and hospitalist teams
- Case mix includes bread-and-butter neurosurgery, trauma, adult patients only (100%)
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery
- Active Illinois medical license required
- Minimum Experience: 1 year
- DEA: Required
- CSR License: Required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
