Job Description
Join a well-established Radiation Oncology team in Grand Rapids, MI, providing locum tenens clinical coverage across inpatient and outpatient settings. Coverage is needed ASAP and ongoing to supplement the existing practice.
Schedule and caseload
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Adult patient population
- Typical volume: 30–50 outpatient visits and 2–5 inpatient cases per day
- Practice staffing: 2 physicians and 2 APPs
Clinical scope and duties
- Deliver conventional and 3D radiotherapy, SBRT/IMRT, helical tomotherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, and fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy
- Perform external beam treatments (3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT)
- Order tests and imaging, prescribe treatments, and manage ongoing patient care
Logistics and systems
- EMR: Mosaiq and Epic
- Travel, lodging, and and malpractice insurance provided
Qualifications
- Active Michigan medical license
- Board certified or board eligible in Radiation Oncology
- BLS certification
