Join a busy outpatient team in Eureka, CA as a Certified Nurse Midwife covering supplemental clinical shifts. This locum tenens position starts ASAP and runs through May 8, 2026, Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You’ll typically see 6–8 patients per day in a one-bed department using Epic.
What you’ll do:
- Provide comprehensive OB and routine GYN care, including prenatal, postnatal, and newborn follow-up
- Perform dating ultrasounds and routine exams/screenings
- Interpret lab and diagnostic results and manage ongoing patient care
What’s provided:

What we’re looking for:
- Active CA license
- Board certified (BC)
- DEA registration
- BLS and NRP certification
- 5+ years’ experience
- Up-to-date health immunizations
This role is clinical-only in an outpatient setting and is ideal for a seasoned midwife comfortable managing the full spectrum of routine obstetric and gynecologic care.
