Requirements:
- Current certification from an accredited radiology school to practice and perform general ultrasound, vascular ultrasound and echocardiography in the U.S.
- CPR certification (AHA)
- Minimum one year of experience performing ultrasound procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general ultrasound, vascular ultrasound, and echocardiogram services, including image taking, processing, and submitting interpretation reports.
- Ensure all interpretations are performed by a board-certified radiologist and/or cardiologist.
- Submit typed reports to the the facility's Health Services Department.
- Communicate abnormal results verbally to the Clinical Director upon receipt.
- Receive patients, explain procedures, alleviate patient anxiety, and document encounters using official consultation authorization forms.
- Adhere to institutional and CDC safety protocols and patient care standards.
