Minimum Qualifications:
- DDS or DMD degree.
- Active license to practice dentistry in Wisconsin.
- Knowledge of general dentistry procedures, dental radiography, and infection control.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnostics, and treatments, including restorations, extractions, prophylaxis/cleanings, and emergency care.
- Diagnose oral conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide routine and emergency dental care in accordance with Wisconsin Department of Corrections (WIDOC) policies and infection control standards.
- Maintain accurate, timely dental records and documentation per departmental procedures.
- Coordinate care with medical and mental health staff to ensure integrated inmate healthcare.
